Major And The Minor Dvd Cinema Classics Students who learn latin or ancient greek can include in the major latin 102 and greek 102 and any latin (lat) or greek (grk) literature courses focused on reading classical authors in their original languages, or add a latin or greek minor to their program (with approval from the department). Students may earn a minor concentration in latin or greek, or classical studies. each option allows students either to survey aspects of classical culture and traditions or to take a more focused cluster of courses.

Additional credit hours required for the major beyond the required courses may be taken in classics (including greek and latin), philosophy, or other courses that focus on the art history, history, or philosophy of ancient greece and or rome offered by or cross listed with cl by other departments.
