Home Cise Alert Project cise alert – towards operational cise. on the 10th of april 2025 cise alert project held its final event in rome, marking the wrap up of the project activities. In 2024, based on the results achieved in the cise transitional phase (2019 2023), the european commission set up the operational phase with the aim of fully implementing cise in the operational activities of maritime surveillance authorities.
Home Cise Alert The cise alert project is to contribute to “testing past, current and short term activities and developments in cise with a single ambition – to move cise from the current transition phase to an operational state”. Cise alert project intends to launch the common information sharing environment (cise) as an operational tool to increase cooperation of the eu actors involved in maritime surveillance missions. In 2019 he was tasked to coordinate the activities of the common information sharing environment (cise) for the eu maritime domain with the goal of turning this initiative into an operational. The cise alert project is an initiative involving 6 eu member states (france, bulgaria, greece, italy, slovenia, portugal) and 2 associated countries (finland, the netherlands), aiming at fostering the effective use of cise for information exchange in maritime surveillance operations at sea.
