Chs Fall Dance The Communicator It’s been four years since over 300 students gathered in the chs craft theater to celebrate a halloween dance at the end of october. the long standing tradition, started by past chs teacher and forum leader judith dewoskin, occurred for over twenty five years. Community high school’s halloween dance on oct. 25, was planned by chs’s forum council (foco). foco members worked hard to transform the halls of chs into a space fit for the spooky season.
The Communicator New and improved from last year, the halloween dance was once again a hit. when “fien” by playboi carti comes on, seniors jack lewis (left) and milo varnum (right) join hands and dance wildly to their favorite song from freshman year at the annual chs halloween dance. The chs main office is a busy place, constantly answering student and staff questions. but it’s felt empty recently with the absence of community’s secretary to the dean, joann constantinides. However, the dancing took place in the craft theater, with dj and chs student gummy ochoa presiding over the dance floor. “we really wanted a dj within community and he is really good at it so it’s really exciting,” jacob said. “i think that just makes it that much more personable.”.
