Chapter 2 Missing Person Network Missing persons notice (mpn) is a global coordination platform designed to support families, authorities, and humanitarian organisations when someone goes missing. Missing person (mp) refers to an absent person whose whereabouts, safety, and well being cannot be established after 24 hours from his herperceived disappearance. Information and data, including personal data, on missing persons may be used to build search strategies, to support the identification of missing unidentified persons and to provide answers to the families.
