Happy spring! it has been a cold winter but the warmth of the women hard at work on behalf of the catholic women’s league of canada radiates in the pages of this newsletter. we are blessed to have so many talented women in our diocese. each one of us has gifts that are needed not only in our parish councils but also at the diocesan level. The catholic women’s league of canada has 60,000 members across the country. for more than 100 years, the league has stood for faith, service and social justice. As members of the catholic women’s league, we rejoice in our unity, through the holy spirit and focus on serving our lord to the best of our ability.

The document outlines the induction ceremony for newly elected officers of a catholic women's league unit. it involves: 1) presenting the elected officers to the spiritual director for induction. In 1906, margaret fletcher, an english convert to catholicism, suggested the founding of a catholic women's organization in england. she was supported in this idea by a small group of women, who formed the core of the organization at its beginning.
