Will Casting Call Club I'd say 90% of my experiences there are excellent, but certain things bother me which doesn't have to do with the ccc creators rather some of the community. so many projects that are unpaid and the person who created the project doesn't lift a finger. Never work with a casting director who messaged you on facebook messanger about a role for an audio podcast after they "mysteriously found you" in a voice over facebook group that you were never apart of in the first place. This is 1 year late so it's probably not useful but i'm pretty sure by gaining reputation on casting call club, you would just have to audition for things and get roles. people can also view your profile through your auditions if they manage to stumble upon them. hope that helps!. You won't hear back on the majority of professional casting calls. you'll know when you see someone else was cast or when someone else is announced. also believe me you don't want to get a bunch of rejection emails every time you get rejected. best to let it go and move on.

I've been experimenting on casting call club and noticed that a lot of people who get selected for roles (especially paid roles) are the ones who have a lot of background noise, poor mic quality, or robotic delivery, or a combination of them. I looked into casting club years ago and didn't goto the site after the first day. it just wasn't my cup of tea. i couldn't see any value in the projects posted on the site. it's probably a decent spot for a hobbyist or someone that gets a thrill from voicing a character project. When you feel like you're ready, you can audition for paying gigs for 20 30 bucks. i still look through it sometimes to see what paying gigs i can find because some of them are pretty cool projects. the downside to ccc as a beginner is that you don't know what projects are worthwhile. Ccc is a good place to cut your teeth, certainly. just make sure you know what you're getting into when you audition: mostly amateurish projects ran by folks who may or may not have experience in casting directing like you'll find in a professional setting.
