Each legacy project is an inspiring collaboration that brings purpose to life through powerful movements that address important challenges.
Case Study Well Being Canada Legacy In this report, indigenous wellness teachings are powerfully illustrated through the artwork of dr. lisa boivin. well being is also gaining traction internationally as an impetus for societal change. it includes but moves beyond economic indicators as a measure of how we are doing. The canadian legacy project provides free access to important services for veterans, including housing, education, training, support services, programing and supports specific to women veterans. The third volume in our series amplifies the voices of indigenous youth leaders while highlighting the nuances of canada’s mental health landscape and offers recommendations for achieving holistic wellness for indigenous peoples. Canada was an early adopter of subjective wellbeing and measures of social connection in its main line surveys, and has recently begun integrating an avant garde quality of life framework in the federal government.

In 2023, the public health agency of canada (phac) authored a case study that highlights the development of the quality of life framework for canada (the framework) as a successful example of multisectoral action.
