Bullet 1900 Chess Story: i played a few bullet today and flagged all my way to 1900. my bullet rating curve is, without much doubt, the most dramatic one (if there is one):. A 1900 chess rating is outstanding you're in the top 1.5% on chess , sitting right at the doorstep of the 2000 milestone. in fide terms, this is roughly 1950 2050, which is approaching candidate master territory.
Bullet 1900 Chess Congrats i too once set milestones for my rating, but was left utterly devastated whenever i dropped 100 200 rating points in a matter of a few days. since then i am cautious with my milestones, as inconsistency is the true thing i need to overcome. Somewhere around 1800 to master is an annoying middleground. you're freakishly good to newer players, but too weak to care about for semi pros and pros. indeed so. i think online chess the grades are a little over 100 elo heavy. I suspect the case can be similar on lichess, which would explain the apparent discrepancy of your percentile rankings. also, playing bullet is very different than playing normal time controls, so a reliable conversion to uscf rating is fundamentally impossible.
