Brainchild Chapter 1 Page 53 Brainchild is a story about paranormal phenomena, bad first impressions, wide scale conspiracies, a whole bunch of mutants, and everything else your senior year of college can possibly throw at you. it is written and drawn by suzanne geary and updates on sundays. It discusses how parenting challenges that seem like opportunities for just survival can also be opportunities to teach children important life skills. the document suggests using everyday interactions, even stressful ones, to help children become responsible, caring people. In the last chapter, we explored the first aspect of mindsight: understanding your own mind. now, let’s talk about the other aspect: understanding other people’s minds, or, simply, empathy. My computer crashed and i was deprived of the awesomeness, but i’m caught up and now and anxiously waiting for the next page! i love the rising tension you imbue this page with, using the bright red contrast of pulsing blood.

Brainchild Chapter 1 Page 52 In the last chapter, we explored the first aspect of mindsight: understanding your own mind. now, let’s talk about the other aspect: understanding other people’s minds, or, simply, empathy. This is still my favorite comment on the comic, just ahead of “rocks and fucking fossils” from page eight of the prologue. Allison’s hair is looking pretty disheveled. sure, she’s fallen, run around a bit, and had her hair blown about ( brainchild.suzannegeary comic chapter 1 page 39 ), but it’s also working as a nice indicator of her mental state.
