Book Review Paper Towns By John Green This Chick Reads Paper towns is a book that explores obsession, identity, and the gap between who we think people are and who they actually are. it’s a mix of mystery, road trip adventure, and coming of age story, all wrapped up in green’s signature witty, heartfelt prose. The praise included rave reviews in time magazine and the new york times, on npr, and from award winning author markus zusak. the book also topped the new york times children's paperback bestseller list for several weeks.
Book Review Plot Summary Paper Towns By John Green The quick witted conversations and flawless dialogue in paper towns moves the plot along nicely. it's a novel that's hard not to love. I think i can quote it in my sleep. i had some trouble reading during this part of the book, but i pulled myself through it. the last few chapters of the book are actually hilarious. i couldn’t stop laughing and feeling sorry for them but i also wanted to go on a roadtrip myself. It is an entertaining read, and promises so much. i do recommend paper towns, but be ready for the ending to disappoint. It's been a few years since i've read anything from green's catalog, but i'm glad that i've returned to his roadmap for ya success. even if paper towns is flawed, it is flawed in an almost endearing way.

When margo roth spiegelman beckons quentin jacobsen in the middle of the night—dressed like a ninja and plotting an ingenious campaign of revenge—he follows her. margo’s always planned extravagantly, and, until now, she’s always planned solo. I could have read another 100 pages, but i’m glad that green has a great editor. knowing that this was his third book, and knowing lfa, the abundance of katherines & what was to come in tfios, i think it has a great mix of all of the john green elements. If you cast your mind back a little while, you may recall my post about books that i need to read before i see the movie. one of those books was eleanor and park, which i reviewed a week or so ago, and another was paper towns. The writing style here was okay, but far from the best i’ve seen, i’ve read one book by this author before so i know that he can do better than what he did in this book.
