Students dressed as book characters for an end of october celebration! get ready for kindergarten 2024 2025! we welcome our newest cheetahs to cameron! get information to prepare for the kindergarten year. cameron students dressed up as their favorite book characters. It tells the story of the eponymous character, a charismatic high school slacker who lives in chicago and skips school with his best friend cameron and his girlfriend sloane for a day, regularly breaking the fourth wall to explain his techniques and inner thoughts. hughes wrote the screenplay in less than a week. 2. contestants may choose any literary character to portray from any disney stories fairy tales fables biblical stories. 3. each contestant shall project a literary book character through his her costume and will deliver famous lines. 4. the delivery projection time should not exceed three (3) minutes. 5. background music is allowed. There will be two categories: individual and group. students are encouraged to dress up like a favorite book character. they will march in the parade as that character and must carry the corresponding book. grade levels will choose a genre for their classes to participate in as a group. Each student will bring a copy of a book, or comic book, that includes the character they are representing. the book must be one that the child has either read or listened to with an adult.
