Blitz Project Warm During our 44th annual blitz event, seniors and individuals with disabilities can sign up to have a team of project warm volunteers come out to their home and put up weatherizing window plastic for free. the 2026 blitz will take place on both saturday, november 7th and saturday, november 14th. One of the reasons project warm’s blitz event is so successful is that it has taken place every year for the past 41 years. volunteer groups and clients alike expect this event to take place around the same time every year and continue coming back to participate.
Blitz Project Warm Join us for project warm’s 43rd annual blitz! 💪🏽🍂 on saturday, november 1st & saturday, november 8th, volunteers will come together in teams of 3–6 to install weatherizing plastic on. Three main services are available at no cost to qualifying low income homeowners and residents: first line weatherization, energy management workshops, and the annual blitz event. Members of beargrass christian church have been volunteering with the project warm blitz since the 1980s and they continue to support the blitz to this day with a generous donation. The annual project warm blitz is ready to register volunteer teams. the hands on service trains volunteers to seal windows and hang interior polyethylene sheething; this makes older windows more efficient.
