This week i am excited to bring you a story about kristin’s experience in a summer job abroad – being a ciee program leader! she has taught in six different countries and lead students in 7 more. she loves helping teachers bring the world to their classrooms through language and social studies. As a program leader, one must adeptly navigate through leading and supervising students, managing logistics, facilitating cultural experiences, and prioritizing student safety above all else. Program timeline: training & preparation (april to june 2025): online or in person training on topics including ciee introduction, diversity and inclusion, safety regulations, summer program.
