I had heard of mspaint adventures before, and had seen some art when the previous stories were running. when i started reading, i didn't know homestuck was a totally different story, and kept wondering when problem slueth would turn up.

Before I Read Homestuck You don't have to read problem sleuth before you read homestuck, but i'd recommend it. it takes an afternoon to read and serves as a good litmus test on whether or not homestuck is your thing. A tale about a boy and his friends and a game they play together. about 8,000 pages. don't say we didn't warn you. before i read homestuck, i knew andrew hussie was the creator, but i thought "ms. paint" took over homestuck and scrapped the main kids and made jane, jake, dirk and roxy. Before i read homestuck, i thought most of the trolls were adults, and gamzee was some kind of terrifying hulking monster. also, i thought feferi had a sister, and i'm pretty sure i didn't realize that there were humans in it.
