The female slayers we do get have abnormal quirks about them that allow them to stack up to the demands of the job. they aren’t just regular girls, but ones who have quicker minds, denser muscles, or extreme eyesight. Unless i'm mistaken, men and women of the swordsmith village who aren't cut out to be smith's would enter the kakushi or clean up crews if they didn't try and become a demon slayer otherwise. while a woman could possibly be a sword smith, more likely they would tenterhooks the clean up corps.
