Act Duo Set For Australian 17 U Squad Camp At Ais Netball Act 17 u: sophia martinussen and ashley weller. 17 u boy’s: llandon vergano and dylan bryant. 20 u men’s: liam platt. the selection announcement follows the 2024 national netball championship held earlier this month in frankston, and the australian men’s and mixed netball nationals held in brisbane. Rising stars from the act netball community, liam platt and dennzyl costa, set out to represent australia as part of the u17s youth boys and u23s men’s national teams. The two squads were selected in the back of standout performances at the national netball championships held in sydney last week. nsw won gold in the 19u tournament and silver in the 17u event. Registration for representative selection for the 2025 mnnsw open men’s, open a’s, mixed men and 23 & under state teams are now open. teams will be competing in the ammna australian championships to be held in melbourne from 13th april – 19th april 2025. The first australian men’s netball team to tour under the new national team identity the kelpies has been named by head coach nerida stewart.stewart has named 2 uncapped and 10 capped players in an experienced list who were “pushed to their limits and rose to the top” in a selection camp and process where 30 athletes were screened.2022.
