Audere Classic Jazz Preamp Talkbass
Audere Classic Jazz Preamp Talkbass I just installed an audere classic jazz preamp in my fender jazz. it's a great upgrade and took me all of a half hour to install. i have not been able to see much on these so, i figured i'd post this info here in case anyone is interested. i've also included a picture for reference. Despite it's low price, you get more extensive tone control options than typical preamps plus our well known natural clarity. it comes in 6 different control configurations and optional knob packages are available in 4 different finishes; black, chrome, gold, and gold satin.
Bassmods Vs Audere Preamp The Winner Talkbass Audere audio has stopped taking new orders for preamps and accessories. we are struggling with too many electronic and mechanical part availibility and pricing issues which means we can not build the affordable quality preamp we have traditionally offered. It's a solderless drop in preamp with control plate for a jazz bass that's supposed to fit the battery in the cavity with it so you don't have to modify the body to fit it. Works for passive or active preamps with outstanding clarity and toneshaping capability. Battery box is not required but can be used if present. we designed our unique electronic circuits using high quality industrial components. we build our surface mount circuit boards in house and assemble the preamps in south beach, oregon, usa.

I unbox the classic preamp and i show you how to install this in a ibanez gio pj bass. i highly recommend these preamps from au. In the classic module preamps you can select either a 2, 3, 3 with mid range frequency switch, or 4 band tone control. the active tone control pots contain a centered detent where the response is flat, giving you the uncolored sound. The audere classic was a perfect complement to the bartolini original splits. the notes on the lower strings are so much more clear than before, and while the overall tone is a little brighter than when running passive, it is in a pleasant and expected way. They're brilliant preamps too, and while they also add their fair share of colour to the tone of your bass, i think both are far more musical sounding than the audere.
