Atc Goes Missing General Discussion Microsoft Flight Simulator Forums Speech synthesis happens online by azure. connection issues and server outages can happen. if you switch the atc voice to offline in settings (sound) the problem should be solved. quality is a bit less, though. Isn't atc voices based on the windows native improved speech synthesis? i remember having lost atc voices at some point, where i had to mess around with my windows language settings and make sure i had the english (us) speech pack installed and activated or some such.

After a couple of days or so with the patch, suddenly my atc window in the toolbar has disappeared. it is greyed out. pressing "reset" does not revive it. instead i now have an additional "active pause" which i did not opt for.
