The stories were published in the pulp magazines from 1940 to 1951, featuring bright colored cover illustrations by earle k. bergey and two other fellow pulp artists. the adventures mostly appeared in captain future’s own magazine but later stories appeared in startling stories. "the asteroid witch" is a perfectly rendered tale by silver age legend, murphy anderson. the front cover is very "pulp ish" in appearance, and that's a good thing, but the artist is sadly unknown; and from the inside front cover, i've taken a special "amazing facts from nature" piece to amuse you. This vintage 1951 issue of amazing adventures comic #1 is in good condition with creme colored pages. this comic measures approx. 7 x 10 and is suitable for framing. this comic features the asteroid witch and it has a 10 cent cover price. this is a nice copy of this hard to find comic.
