Arts Innovation Hub Batesville Memorial Public Library This dedicated space will allow us to further integrate original and arts based programming into our community, provide a home for local artists to share their work, and foster meaningful partnerships that enrich our region. These community groups envision an innovative, multi use community anchor space to provide resources to: learn & work, explore & play, and create & share. the 8,000 square feet facility will accomplish these goals by expanding the existing batesville memorial public library by adding outdoor space.
Hub Batesville Memorial Public Library The batesville arts & innovation hub is an 8,300 square foot expansion of the batesville memorial public library designed to serve as a regional anchor for creativity, education, and entrepreneurship. (batesville, in) – the batesville memorial public library (bmpl) is asking for the community’s support as it enters the final phase of fundraising for its arts & innovation hub. the 8,300 square foot creative community space is under construction in the heart of downtown. Following substantial support from the city of batesville through a bond issuance and a readi state grant, the project is close to becoming a reality. the library is hoping to raise the remaining $300,000 needed to complete construction and open the facility to the public. Batesville memorial public library is currently working with krm architecture on a project that will expand the community’s space for arts and other enriching, productive, and cultural activities. this standalone building, known as the arts & innovation hub, will be directly adjacent to the existing library, separated by an outdoor plaza that will also be programmable space for the community.
