April 2020 Tbr Alana Estelle I got busy back then with my studies but as my exams will end in first half of april, i am really excited to dive in this self help book. i have always loved self help book and i have a feeling that i’ll end up loving it too. Shelter in place continues through april in illinois. i will keep reading horror and others. hard copies. 2020 Tbr Welcome to my monthly tbr post for april 2020! did you have a good reading month in march? i can’t believe that just last month i was asking everyone how their 2020 is going, all nice and dandy. things have really changed in the last 31 days and it’s really eye opening for me. I know so many bloggers do beginning of the month tbr posts and i always love reading them, so i’ve decided to post my own as well! i will include my physical, e book, and arc tbrs as well as a status update of where i am prior to starting my upcoming month’s tbr. Shayna darby is finally coming to terms with her parents’ deaths when she’s delivered another blow. the body of her estranged twin sister, angela—the possible victim of a serial killer—has been pulled from the seine. putting what’s left of her life on hold, shayna heads to paris. I deliberated for a decent length of time trying to decide which books i would like to read in april. once spring rolls around, i’m in the mood for jane austen. i also knew i wanted to read two smaller novels in place of the typical shakespeare i read a month. i need to take a break from shakespeare, okay? we need to separate and reconvene. Welcome to the improved edition of my tbr game! i trialed this last month, and have since changed some prompts, added some prompts etc. the cards are also smaller this time around! if you’re unfamiliar with how the game works, essentially i just pull cards from a pile and match a book to the prompt. The three primary books on my april tbr are not new to me, however – they are rereads that fulfill my “edition goal” for this year’s reading challenge. rereading a book i enjoy is something that has helped me out of past reading slumps, so i’m hoping that trend proves effective this month, too.
