There is a lot going for it and a few things that hold it back, but its a good game for a short term purchase. i can't speak to the long term, end game stuff. i'm sure its ok. i'm going to keep playing a bit but i'll probably lose interest before long. if it’s under $10usd then it’s absolutely worth a buy.

Anthem was an attempt that failed hard, despite its promise, because leadership was flaky and resources were poorly managed. at one point, the guy who basically single handedly salvaged diablo 3's loot system after the flop that was the real money auction house offered consultation to fix the loot, but they ignored him. Making an "anthem, but not bad" kind of game is going to be an extremely hard pitch to sell for any publisher because anthem completely flopped. all the publisher is going to see is that anthem did poorly and they won't really care why.
