Baldwin's 60,000th locomotive was an experimental three cylinder design (numbered 60000) completed in 1926. it tested on several major railroads including the baltimore & ohio, erie, pennsylvania, burlington, santa fe, great northern, and southern pacific but ultimately never sold.
