Alternate History Axis Victory A hypothetical military victory of the axis powers over the allies of the second world war (1939–1945) is a popular topic in the alternate history subgenre of speculative fiction and in scholarly works that discuss the possible alternative path of history. The world has now been through its first full decade of dominance by the wartime axis powers. in most of mainland europe and a large amount of north america, hitler's word is law.
