All Issue Cgj Hkcgi The hong kong chartered governance institute foundation limited (the foundation) was established by the hong kong chartered governance institute (hkcgi) in january 2012 as a company limited by guarantee. Cgj reviews a two part guidance note, issued by the institute in the fourth quarter of 2025, on how governance professionals can assist their organisations to identify, manage and mitigate all forms of technology risk. Focusing on the implications of the updated corporate governance code (cg code), effective this july, the articles draw from the hkcgi kpmg joint research report released in september. Authors from hogan lovells examine hong kong’s proposed cybercrime reforms, highlighting new offences, tougher penalties and an expanded jurisdiction that could materially increase compliance risks for businesses operating in or connected to hong kong.
