Ifc 1 Asia Centre Launches International Faculty Club Asia Centre With over one hundred affiliated faculty from 28 departments and 11 colleges, the asia center works with a network of units across the university to facilitate development of asia related curriculum, conferences, lectures, cultural events, learning abroad and internship opportunities, and community programs. A research center of the college of liberal arts and sciences. The center for asian studies was founded in 2019 by the university of texas at dallas. its purpose is to promote knowledge of and engagement with the diverse cultures of asia and asian america. The center for asian studies supports undergraduate and graduate curriculum offered by the academic schools, including the asian studies minor. in addition, the center also offers non credit courses in asian languages for the public as well as lectures, symposia, and other educational programming. Hosted by the asia center, the desert humanities initiatives, the public history program, the school of international letters and cultures, and the school of historical, philosophical and religious studies at arizona state university, this event took place on thursday, feb. 15th and friday, feb 16th. As part of its mission to promote intra and inter asian research, the asia center invites applications from scholars whose projects engage meaningfully with two or more countries in east, south, or southeast asia to become asia center fellows.
