Advisory Council Seattle Indivisible All of the work that we do is informed by regular input from our advisory council, made up of a diverse set of recognized and respected leaders who are well positioned to provide guidance on how we can best represent and advocate for the needs of their respective communities. In 2021, ordinance 126512 created an indigenous advisory council to advise city government on issues affecting american indian, alaska native, and native hawaiian people residing in seattle.

Our actions are informed and inspired by the indivisible guide, our advisory council, our thousands of dedicated volunteers and fabulous progressive networks–all tirelessly working to protect and further our democracy, our values and our future. The council sees their advisory role as assisting in tangible change in power and transfer of resources back to native people through recommendations to the seattle city council, mayor, and city departments on issues directly affecting american indian, alaskan native, and native hawaiian people.
