Join us for a time honored, intergenerational tradition at st. david’s episcopal church, advent wreath making. after the 9:15 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. services we invite you to gather in allen hall to make your own advent wreath.

At its simplest, an advent wreath is a circle of evergreens with four candles along the outside and one (white) in the center. for people who want something beyond the basic, there are many websites, including videos, to help. At 5 pm, we will gather in the great hall to design and construct unique advent wreaths to mark the days leading to christmas. then, at 6 pm, we will display our wreaths and sit down to enjoy a delicious lasagna dinner. Besides clare and candles and wreaths, i have an advent book for each of your families, and some coloring posters for you to help make the advent waiting sweeter.
