Activity Update 29 March 2024 Solar Section
Activity Update 29 March 2024 Solar Section Analysis of solar active regions and activity from 28 2100z to 29 2100z. solar activity has been at moderate levels for the past 24 hours. the largest solar event of the period was a m3 event observed at 29 0230z from region 3615 (s13w81). there are currently 4 numbered sunspot regions on the disk. ib. solar activity forecast. Ian noted that “ar3615 remains impressive with its extensive plage and spots now looking foreshortened. both ar3614 and ar3615 also had prominences adjacent to them. the best prominence was a bright prominence with complex structure on the eastern limb.
Activity Update 27 March 2024 Solar Section Searching for historical solar and auroral activity data? the archive is filled with data between the year 1996 and yesterday. Last 24 hours: there are two new active regions emerging over the eastern limb. a beautiful prominence eruption in the southeast may be an indicator of more to come. sun activity is at a. The solar terrestrial activity report presents current solar data and images. coronal holes and active solar regions are tracked daily and documented using sdo images. Eovsa, afino, solar flare finder and helioportal (njit)!.
Activity Update 23 March 2024 Solar Section The solar terrestrial activity report presents current solar data and images. coronal holes and active solar regions are tracked daily and documented using sdo images. Eovsa, afino, solar flare finder and helioportal (njit)!. It has developed rapidly since my last observation on the 19 march. there appears to be a separation forming between the group, giving a leading group and a following group. The solar flaring activity is expected to be at moderate to high levels over the next 24 hours with c class flares expected, m class flares likely and a low probability for an x class flare. Also referred to as the “solar geophysical activity report and forecast”, this report provides a summary and analysis of solar and geomagnetic activity during the previous 24 hours as well as the most recent solar indices. High frequency and vhf radio propagation data, solar and geomagnetic real time and historic data, sunspot activity reports, as well as forecasts. a comprehensive propagation resource compiled by tomas hood, editor of the propagation columns of cq, cq vhf, popular communications, and monitoring times magazines.
