Accreditation Irap The requirements for system accreditation are described in the irap inspection system accreditation specification. the process for accreditation of an inspection system is shown in the graphic below. The first accreditation is interim until the supplier has implemented an irap project successfully. the accreditation is annual and renewal may be awarded based on the supplier’s performance, compliance with irap code of conduct, client feedback and a renewal fee payment.

Any road or design that has been assessed using the irap star rating methodology is eligible for star rating certification. certification is a voluntary process and can be performed for vehicle occupants, motorcyclists, pedestrians and or bicyclists. This one hour online course summarizes the global road safety context, who irap is and what we do, and how to use the vida star rating demonstrator. a certificate is included upon assignment completion.
