About Us Thames21 Thames21 is the voice for london’s waterways, working with communities to improve rivers and canals for people and wildlife. we engage thousands of volunteers of all ages and abilities every year to clean and green the capital’s wide network of waterways. Through its network of river action groups, thames21 embeds itself in local communities by supporting them with start up assistance and ongoing support, beginning with a training programme to upskill local leaders into setting up their own river restoration network. 👉join us this weekend, on the 21st and 22nd march, for two hands on restoration sessions. 🌿💧we’ll be repairing the banks, managing vegetation, and clearing litter and invasive species. these will help prevent further erosion and enhance the local wildlife habitat. 💙everyone is welcome, no prior experience needed.
