In the 2026 mint 400, levi maddox overshot a large jump in his side‑by‑side, landed too deep on the downslope, and the car pitched forward into a violent series of end‑over‑end rolls—around six full rotations. Sacalas is re building the buggy but will not be able to race cinco de baja which was on his original race schedule. he hopes to be racing again by june in the lucas oil regional at lake elsinore speedway in california. Despite the damage shown here, both driver and spotter walked away from this accident with only minor injuries. unfortunately their rig, the big ugly, will likely be out for this ultra4 season.
