Wanted to give everyone an update that i should be resuming videos tomorrow (sunday) as i have had quite an illness this past week that prevented me from getting weather updates out. Wind chills in the single digits are expected later tonight and into thursday morning. as for the snow, i’m leaving my graphics the same as with the last couple of updates. This watch is until 3:00 a.m. and includes the counties outlined in yellow. this includes white and van buren counties on the western border of cumberland county. the watch is primarily due to very severe storms in north misssissippi that are now moving into southern middle tn. Please be careful if you’re out and about tonight and in the morning. the winter weather advisory will stay in effect through 6:00 a.m. bridges and overpasses will be the most vulnerable to freezing. also, be mindful of black ice, which can develop on wet roads, even after the precip has stopped.
