A collection of demonstration videos i made for my 5th graders. Learn how to create a plaster relief sculpture with found objects in this step by step lesson. this easy sculpture process is great for both artists and students wishing to create a unique sculpture that can be hung on a wall. The document instructs students to design a nature inspired low relief tile by sketching ideas, selecting a design to transfer to clay, and carving away negative space to create the relief while leaving positive space intact. After measuring and cutting the tubes into 1 2″ rings, students shaped the pieces by folding, cutting, curling and bending. they created arrangements on 8” squares of cardboard and fixed them in place with white glue. final embellishments were done with acrylic paint, spray paint and metallic pen.
