2023 Advent Devotional Ukirk 2023 advent devotional ukirk is excited to offer the seventh annual edition of words for waiting: daily devotions for advent and christmas. Words for waiting is a daily devotional for the seasons of advent and christmas. it began in 2017 as a local ish effort by campus ministers in alabama, mississippi, and tennessee.
2024 Ukirk Advent Devotional Ukirk Ukirk collegiate ministries, part of the christian formation collective with the office of christian formation in the presbyterian mission agency, invites you to share in this series of devotions written by campus pastors and college students from across the country and denomination. Our current year, 2023, has been shaped around the theme of “shine his light” and this light can be manifested in many ways, especially in worship, service, and growth in our faith. there are times in our lives when it takes a huge effort to see god’s light anywhere. This advent guide provides you with five daily devotionals for each of the four weeks. the devotionals are designed to help you wait with expectation, receive anew, and take part in the advent season. Throughout the four weeks of advent (starting on sunday 12 3), we have the opportunity to journey through a series of daily devotional articles. these articles are part of a booklet which is available at our church (no charge!). the articles are presented in electronic format in this website post.
