Perfusion Cardiovascular News Roundup September 7 2022 Note: this information session was held march 1, 2022. topics discussed in this session are subject to change without notice. Positron emission tomography (pet) determined absolute quantitative myocardial blood flow (mbf) at rest and during hyperemic vasodilation with subsequent derivation of myocardial flow reserve (mfr) affords the noninvasive detection and delineation of cmd.
Cardiovascular Perfusion Cardiovascular Perfusion Simulation 1 Fractal analysis constitutes a quantitative and pathophysiologically meaningful approach to myocardial perfusion analysis using dynamic stress ctp, which improved diagnostic performance over ctp mbf when combined with anatomical information from cta. Myocardial perfusion cardiovascular magnetic resonance (cmr) using first pass contrast enhanced imaging is an established non invasive test for the detection of myocardial ischaemia. The aim of this study was to identify factors associated with primary graft patency 1 year following open lower limb revascularisation (llr) at a tertiary referral vascular service. Recently deep learning has been increasingly applied on perfusion imaging for better understanding of the diagnosis, safety, and outcome of cad. the aim of this review is to summarise the evidence behind deep learning applications in myocardial perfusion imaging.

First pass perfusion cardiac mr (fpp cmr) enables non invasive detection of ischemic heart disease (1 – 3). typically, assessment is based on visual comparison of relative contrast enhancement in different myocardial segments, which requires highly trained readers (4). This special issue aims to highlight current practices, challenges, and future directions in organ perfusion and recovery across multiple organ systems, including the heart, lungs, liver, and kidneys. The contrary is also possible if myocardial perfusion is impaired because of microvascular disease in the absence of epicardial cad, which causes myocardial ischemia despite “normal” ffr above the 0.80 threshold. We assessed the effects of a more optimized, cardioprotective normothermic perfusion approach compared to a conventional perfusion protocol in a slaughterhouse model using porcine hearts.
