2020 Csa Week 1 We are heading through the middle of the season the next few weeks. summer heat and storms keep it humid and exciting out in the fields as we keep bringing in the summer harvest from the fields. Thank you for playing and adding some fun energy to our group this week. beginning next week, august 23rd through sept. 6th, we are running the air fryer challenge!. If you see charles at a csa pickup location, or you see him in the community group on facebook, make sure to tell him "thank you" for all he has done for this farm and for this community. This week before the rains, we got some cool weather crops for the last few autumnal weeks of our csa! spinach, arugula, spring radishes, and more are in the ground for the next seasonal transition coming on.
2020 Csa Front 9 Farm If you see charles at a csa pickup location, or you see him in the community group on facebook, make sure to tell him "thank you" for all he has done for this farm and for this community. This week before the rains, we got some cool weather crops for the last few autumnal weeks of our csa! spinach, arugula, spring radishes, and more are in the ground for the next seasonal transition coming on. Join the csa and you will help support our farm, your table, and if you read the newsletter (does anybody read the newsletter?!) your pantry. we are currently seeding plantings of onions, peppers, tomatoes, and soon brassicas while our perennial crops (strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, garlic) start to wake up from their winter sleep. The weather forecast calls for a week or more of really hot weather – and peas hate that. but we’re starting to see more sturdy veggies in our box, and soon there’ll be the first tomatoes. We are offering an extension to current csa members of an additional two weeks for $60. that way you will have your winter squash, brussels sprouts, apples and other fall crops. Two weeks ago we said goodbye to zay, and we wish them all the best on their new farm in vermont where i am certain their life will flourish. i would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself as the newest member of the fince tres robles team and new farm manager.
