1987 1998 Fairview Bible Church On march 30, 1998 brian may was hired as our pastor. under his leadership we have continued to grow both spiritually and in number. since the size of the sanctuary was doubled in 1992, our average attendance has doubled. Although families and church members have come and gone over the years, fairview bible church still stands as a lighthouse in the community; pointing the lost to a living savior.
1987 1998 Fairview Bible Church Fairview bible church was founded in 1974, rooted in the conviction that the bible is our ultimate authority and source of truth as god’s unfailing word. it is through the faithful teaching of the word of god that we can grow to better know, obey, and love christ. I believe that to know where you are going in life, you must first know where you came from; likewise, i believe that this is true for our church. the simplest truths are often the greatest, and have the most significant effect on our lives — here and in eternity. Richard has been a part of fairview bible church since 1987, and serves as chairman of the governing board. he is retired following a career first as a mechanical engineer, and later as a professor of engineering. he and his wife, diana, have two sons and one grandson. Shortly after reentering the church in late 1970, the congregation began a series of renovations to the existing church structure. one of the major additions was the installation of a restroom in the basement [located where the nursery is today].
