I've recently moved house and mounted our tv on the wall. everyone who visits says the tv is very low. i think it's at a good height for watching from the sofa? perhaps the space above the tv gives the impression it is low. once i have a tv unit in place i think it will be perfect. please tell me i'm right as i'm not wrong. share add a comment. That's the fault of you using something that's not a tv stand. i'd suggest wall mounting or lower than it is now, and either use a bracket to mount the sound bar to the tv mount or get a much lower piece of furniture to put the sound bar on. I'd definitely add some lamps and never use the overhead lighting (i assume they used it just for the photo since there are a few lamps) but this room is my exact style.
