By default, pymavlink will map the ardupilot mode names to mode numbers per the definitions in the ardupilotmega.xml file. however, during development, it can be useful to add to or update the default mode mappings. By replacing mavros with pymavlink, i was able to achieve a lighter and simpler mavlink communication setup. this method allows greater flexibility while maintaining core functionality. My problem is that sometimes (almost once out of three times) the heart signal is not received and as a result the connection is not completed and the code is not executed. is there any solution? is my code wrong? that code is correct works reliably on my win10 box. could it be a connection issue to the flight controller?. Depending on the complexity of your logic or your app, you might want to run your pymavlink loop in one thread and have the logic of the program run in another, and have the logic thread communicate with the pymavlink loop thread via a pair of thread safe queues.
