Low egg numbers does not mean failure. SO many women get pregnant with a low number of eggs and embryos. Why was I perscribed methylprednisolone for IVF? I have a new RE and a new protocol for IVF#3.
It's important to note that, when I tried to google it, I saw a lot of references to assisted hatching - which, to the best of my knowledge, we aren't doing this cycle. IVF #1 - 10 days IVF #2 - 11 days My RE would not let me travel once my monitoring appointment started (which was 5 days fater starting stims) b/c you never know exactly when you will need to go back. Sometimes there was a day between monitoring appointments and other times I was at the office every single day. In this context, if the interview is important to you, I would push your cycle back.
IVF Update- Day 8 of stims and ?s — The Bump. This is my first IVF so bear with me. So tonight will be day 8 of stimming. I am on 150 of Menopur and 300 of Gonal F.
Missed dose of estrogen — The Bump. Okay, so I'm an idiot. I'm on 2mg of estradiol, twice a day (4mg total) in pill form, 5 weeks, 3 days pregnant after fresh transfer of donor embryo (my wife's egg). This perspective suggests that, last night, I forgot my evening estradiol pill. I'm on schedule for progesterone. Doctor says to just stick to my schedule moving forward.
