From another angle, i would stick with a cast iron boiler if you have baseboards or radiators. "High efficiency " boilers are only efficient when they have water returning to them cooler than 130 degrees. When heating 180 degree water for baseboard heating these boilers aren't any more efficient than the cast iron boilers. Moreover, do you really need to get your boiler serviced every year?.
