Youth For Technology Foundation Youth for technology foundation (ytf) is an international nonprofit organization founded in 2000. we’re a team of passionate optimists driven to help others realize their potential by building lifelong learning skills. Ytf runs a range of programs for children, teens, and women of all ages in developing nations and low income communities. each program uses technology to support education, entrepreneurship, employment, and empowerment that ultimately eliminate poverty and ensure equity for all.
Youth For Technology Foundation Who we serve: youth and women in rural and urban areas. what we do: develop programs that empower youth and women, giving them technology tools to succeed in education or as entrepreneurs. where: kenya, nigeria and uganda why: there have been transformative developments in africa’s information communications technology (ict). Ytf works with local civil society organizations, youth networks and community schools to develop programs that facilitate technological leadership – from primary to postsecondary education. Youth everywhere have innate and incredible potential, with decades of opportunities and working years ahead of them, particularly in technology. we especially believe that marginalized youth living, working, and going to school in communities in the developing world have extraordinary potential.
