Each year since 2014, young leaders, strong city has brought together high school students from across the dallas ft. worth area. the summit is a full day leadership development experience with meaningful discussions on identity, mental health and organizing for change.

Founded in 2014, the ylsc annual teen summit brings together 8th 12th grade students from public, private, and charter schools from across the dallas area to spark dialogue, awareness, engagement, and equip them to advocate for changes in their schools, communities and beyond. Join us on saturday, march 7th 2026, for a day of leadership, connection, and fun. there will be so many amazing workshops featured this year, and amazing opportunities to enjoy, like activation alley and an open mic.
