It was my great honour to be recognised as a vip guest at jcu young language ambassadors conference today. the young language ambassadors from cairns school of chinese were inspired by the speeches and are determined to promote language learning in our community. A big thank you to florence and the academy of modern languages at james cook university for another successful young language ambassadors conference. our students were privileged to be part of this with all the passionate language learners from the state. The young champions program was established to encourage, promote and mentor our next generation of language workers. we have created this group to help. More than 200 participants attended the annual young language ambassadors conference at jcu in townsville including a group of 12 from our pacific neighbours.
