You Guys Made Me Do It R Homelab
You Guys Made Me Do It R Homelab Ya know, i'm surprised nobody has said anything about the wooden rack i made lol. i know you guys like the diy ones. It gives me some peace of mind about data ownership and allows me to share my massive media library with anyone i want, wherever they are at basically zero cost.
My First Big Homelab R Homelab After watching all the posts on r homelab, i had to get a home lab, but i didn't have the funds to invest in a server rack and more importantly the need to do the same. Whether you want to run multiple virtual machines on a single system, experiment with kubernetes through smart home automation, or just repurpose old hardware into your own server, this group can. What have you guys done to me . i've always been a bit tech savvy, in the sense that i know my way around a pc and can handle myself on linux. for the past three years, my wife and i have been living in a two story apartment. my modem and router is on the first floor, while my pc is on the second. The power draw far exceeds any earnings from it, unless you live somewhere that's really cold and has really cheap power, in which case you want to build up some dedicated mining rigs.

This is a question i find myself trying to answer as i prepare to make my first homelab. a looooot of people seem to use theirs for media servers, but i (like folks most these days) don't download movies tv shows music anymore, so it's not very useful or legal for that imo. Welcome to your friendly r homelab, where techies and sysadmin from everywhere are welcome to share their labs, projects, builds, etc. What do you use your home lab for? hey all! so i've been working on my lab for about a year now. i have an r410 and an r710 running my plex and game servers respectively, and i love learning more about my machines every day. all of that said, i'd like to get more out of my lab. Hello everyone, for those who have a personal homelab you use what? what services? what do you do with servers? besides cloud storage. it's to get an idea. i have servers that i've retrieved from a structure that we've closed, but i don't see what i can do with them and they're powerful for personal use.
