Xia Soil Systems Lab Our research team primarily focuses on evaluating and advancing nature based solutions by investigating the influence of environmental drivers, land use changes, and management practices on soil health and the associated ecosystem service outcomes in terrestrial ecosystems. Dr. yushu xia’s research focuses on soil health assessment and the modeling of soil carbon, nitrogen, and water dynamics in agricultural and natural ecosystems.
Xia Soil Systems Lab She is a soil scientist who uses field and lab observations, big data, remote sensing, and modeling tools to monitor carbon storage, nitrogen losses, soil water dynamics, and agricultural productivity in the terrestrial ecosystem.
