Xamarin Missing Cross Platform Template On Visual Studio 2017 Stack I'm after install updates on visual studio 2017 and create successful my first app with xamarin.forms and cross platform, when i want to create another app i can't find cross platform template on new project dialog. They actaully removed the 'blank cross platform mobile app (native xamarin)' template because they thought it was too confusing. you need to create a 'shared project' and then manually add an android native project and an ios native project to the shared project.
