Wwpdb Validation Reports The wwpdb provides depositors with detailed reports (pdf and xml files) that include the results of model and experimental data validation, as part of the curation of all entries. The wwpdb validation report uses the ccdc mogul program to validate the geometry of ligands against the cambridge structural database (csd) of small molecule organic structures.
Wwpdb Validation Reports Validation reports are provided to depositors through onedep the wwpdb portal for validation, deposition and biocuration of structure data. wwpdb partners encourage the use of the stand alone validation server and the web service api at any time prior to data deposition. In 2014, validation reports for all existing x ray crystal structures in the pdb archive were made publicly available through the wwpdb ftp sites. validation reports for a particular pdb entry are also available from the entry’s page at rcsb pdb, pdbe or pdbj. The introduction of this pipeline, and the wwpdb validation report (vr) files that it produces (in both human readable and machine readable formats), has significantly expanded the scope of quality assessment provided by the wwpdb partners. Percentile scores (ranging between 0 100) for global validation metrics of the entry are shown in the following graphic. the table shows the number of entries on which the scores are based. the table below summarises the geometric issues observed across the polymeric chains and their fit to the map.
