Wow has the most noob friendly community of any game i’ve been in. everyone treats new players as cute kids here and gets them going. but there’s also nothing wrong with people being surprised that older players still don’t know how to research games, or watch videos explaining things.

I play wow on and off since vanilla's beta and there have been times the game was just way too shit for me for various reasons. my class feeling shitty to play, underwhelming content (cata for me) and other things i just quit the game. sometimes for years, sometimes only for a patch. Decided that i needed to focus on getting into a good school, so i decided to quit wow. to make sure i wouldn't come back, i de'd my t2 2.5 gear, and gave my gold away to randoms. I have been in love with classic as it's the first time i've played wow where i don't feel like i'm so behind and mega confused. it's also very simple, at times too simple but we find ways to have fun regardless which is what i like about it. Like a tauren, zalandari troll, or even a vulpera. i wish they had more options other than a stupid human or a dumb elf. don’t get me wrong, i think both the human and elf look great but i just wish i had more options. not to mention, humans look dumb on the horde side.
